The early childhood education community often lacks accessible resources that highlight the significance of storying in children’s development.
Many educators may not be aware of effective storying practices or how to integrate them into their curricula.
To address this challenge, I developed a series of engaging articles and social media posts based on my research. These materials are designed to be informative and practical, allowing educators to easily implement storying techniques in their classrooms. By collaborating with kindergartens, I ensured that the content is tailored to their needs and disseminated through their existing platforms. This approach not only helped raise awareness of the value of storying but also supported educators in enhancing their teaching practices.
Articles showcasing different types of storying that take place in children's daily lives are formatted as spreads using InDesign.
A series of posts created with Canva aims to encourage spontaneous storying in early childhood classrooms.
