"It was a pleasure working with Alison M-C Li. Alison did an excellent job in redesigning the Canvas course for WINESCI 201, Introduction to Wine Science. Alison's expertise in instructional design, particularly in aligning the course with Canvas Baseline Practices, made a significant impact on both the structure and delivery of the course. Alison skillfully and efficiently improved the functionality of our Canvas platform to better meet the needs of our students, making the course materials more accessible and engaging. The positive feedback from our students, along with the smoother course navigation and improved learning outcomes, is a testament to her thoughtful and collaborative approach."
"As Course Director of undergraduate course, EDCURRIC 624 Curriculum and Pedagogy, I worked with Alison who led me through the redesign of the course in 2024 as part of the CANVAS Baseline Project (CBP). I had earlier worked with Alison in 2020 in my postgraduate course EDPROF 709 Early Childhood Leadership, where she skilfully supported my use of multiple technologies in a complex virtual classroom to teach in-person and online international and domestic students, all at the same time! For the more recent CBP work, Alison’s learning design skills, communication, and support were impressive. She took responsibility for making the changes, was highly responsive to what I needed, took time to explain the changes, and then left me with helpful strategies to modify aspects of the course in her absence. The final presentation of the course, its logic, and access for students were much improved as a result of her work. To me, Alison is a generous, talented, and committed colleague who pays attention to detail and offers wonderful support."
